Our Dress Code

Cherry Lodge Golf Club encourages a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in the Clubhouse and recognises that fashions change. Consequently, smart/casual clothing is acceptable in the Clubhouse unless a different dress code (i.e. Jacket & Tie or Black Tie) is specified.

Clean smart jeans are acceptable in the Clubhouse but they must not be fashion low-rise, tie-dyed or distressed (ripped/slashed) denim. Shirts designed exclusively not to be tucked in are permitted to be worn in the clubhouse.

The following items of clothing are strictly prohibited in the clubhouse:

* Golfing waterproofs and golf footwear

* Tracksuits, sports shorts, combat wear, vests, T-shirts, football/rugby tops

* Caps, hats and visors

Shoes or leather sandals are permitted in the Clubhouse without socks. Stockinged feet/bare feet are not permitted in the Clubhouse. Trainers are not permitted in the main bar or dining area but clean trainers may be worn in the Spike Bar. Clean golf shoes may be worn in the Spike Bar between April and September.

If you are not following this dress code, please do not be offended if a member of staff or a club official approaches you.
