Sam Jarrett

27-year-old Sam has joined Cherry Lodge Golf Club as the new head professional, having previously worked at Royal Mid Surrey Golf Club based in Richmond, London. Having begun playing golf just a decade ago, Sam progressed quickly to become part of England Golf’s Futures Programme at Hartpury College in Gloucestershire. He turned professional off a scratch handicap in 2014. Sam is a sports enthusiast and still loves to play a variety of them. His passion was always rugby where he played at a high level before taking up golf. He has taught players of all abilities and loves to see progression with his clients.

I am thrilled to have joined Cherry Lodge Golf Club at such an exciting time and looking forward to the season ahead. I hope to implement my current skill set here and feel privileged to be able to further my career at such an upcoming and active golf club.

Milo King

I was a late starter to golf, getting my first handicap of 24 aged 16. Fast forward two years and I was playing off 3 and looking at becoming a PGA professional, which I achieved in 2018. My first coach not only helped me to improve my golf, but also helped me to understand my golf game so I could help myself when I needed it on the golf course. This is something I am still passing on to all my clients today. I strongly believe a simple approach to the golf swing and improving my client’s knowledge will provide the best long term improvement and enjoyment.

Outside of golf I live with my Fiancée in Faversham where we are both team leaders at our local running club. I have participated in three half marathons and would some day like to complete a full marathon, but I have a long way to go.... literally!

Callum Mackay

Callum has played golf at a great standard his whole life starting with Surrey golf then competing at national level all over Europe. Callum reached the last group of the Belgium Amateur where he shot -17 through three rounds and came second to Thomas Detry. Callum Turned professional off +1 and will be starting his PGA training this October.

I couldn't wait to get started at Cherry Lodge. The team we have here is young, enthusiastic and very motivated to make a difference. I hope to bring some fresh and exciting ideas to the teams and look forward to meeting you all in the near future.
